'Toyota MR2 Turbo' - Matthew - Cheshire
MWS did extensive welding on my Toyota MR2 turbo over the course of a few months. After collecting and inspecting the car it was far more corroded than anticipated and so I decided to have the shell acid dipped as part of the work. Jason handled transport of the car to and from the acid dip premises on my behalf which was awesome.
The actual welding repairs completed on the shell are second to none. The welder whom completed the work on the car, John, was extremely meticulous and ensured all the repairs where faithful to factory spec. With the exception of the rear arches, where I wanted the return lip removing, which John did flawlessly in a way that will stop any future corrosion in the area. In areas of the car where it made more financial sense to source donor panels than to fabricate them from scratch, Jason handled all this as well. At every stage of the job Jason updated me with both phone call and detailed emailed photographs of the work done.
The only negative part of the whole experience is that unfortunately work to the shell did far exceed my original budget due to the amount of work it ended up needing. However if you are looking for somewhere that does not compromise on quality of work in any way, use MWS. Both Jason and John really treated the car as if it was their own.
The MR2 has now been back to the acid dippers to be Ecoated and looks like a brand new shell has time travelled from 1995. If it's a car you want to keep long term like me, I wouldn't go anywhere else for welding work. I'm very excited to start the rest of the restoration.

'Roll Cage Sprint/Hill Climb Car' - Andy - Worcestershire
I needed a local company to weld in some roll cage and harness reinforcing plates on my sprint/hill climb car so visited this company to discuss the job and take a look around and was impressed with what I saw which was a thoroughly professional and friendly company with demonstrably high standards of work so I went ahead and booked the car in.
This was a fairly tricky job as it was to weld 4mm steel plates to 1.2mm panels with somewhat restricted access and also involved overhead welding.
I was extremely impressed with the level of preparation and the fact that we discussed every aspect of the job in detail before the work began.
The job was completed within the time estimated and all I can say in conclusion is that I am very impressed and very pleased indeed with the extremely high quality of their work.
Jason and his team are highly skilled at what they do and I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them to others.

We just wanted to say a big thank you to Jason, Suzi and their team who carried out the restoration work on our 1966 Morris Minor van. We had tried several other restoration companies and because the roof repairs on the van were very involved we couldn't find anyone prepared to do the work, but Jason was confident that they could carry out this work. The result is brilliant and we could not be happier with the skilled work that has been achieved.

The project was to restore the rust damaged body of my Ford Fiesta Mk 1, and Jason came to collect it and provided an initial assessment of what was needed after seeing photos also. Thereafter I was kept well informed about the work, with good detail on the invoices, and many photos were taken of the progress. I could see how well and professionally the work was progressing with attention to detail, and my visits were a highlight for me including meeting a most friendly and welcoming business. Despite any problems caused by Covid 19, all work continued, and I must mention the excellent overall work of Dan's welding and associated skills. Sourcing of panels etc. was carried out most efficiently, and the final painting result was superb. It was returned very efficiently in a covered trailer. The transformation from a rust hulk to this is a great achievement, and I would highly recommend MWS for any similar project.

5 stars simply isn’t enough, I had almost lost hope on my Volvo amazon, numerous body shops told me “it’s not worth doing”, “no one will take that on”. I sent pictures to various company’s but no one ever responded or they told me they couldn’t do the work. When I contacted mobile welding services, I simply sent a few pictures through the enquiries section on the website and a brief description of what needed to be done. Jason was on the phone within 15 minutes ! He was also the first person to speak about my car in a positive manner, suddenly my dream had come back to life!
Within a short time, my car was collected (which is free of charge) and taken to Bewdley. The quality of service and communication I recieved was excellent, I recieved multiple pictures, as the car progressed, and I was always consulted with, when any extra work was found or an improvement on the original design was suggested. MWS were also flexible on payments a steady finance meant my car was being repaired to top notch standards and I wasn’t struggling financially.
The standards to which my car has been repaired, are beyond what I imagined, I can’t thank the team enough, I certainly know I will use them in the future, after showing friends pictures of my car, they’ve already booked there own classics in for body repairs !
Anyone wanting their classic car doing right, you need these guys to do it !
